Conquer Anxiety and OCD is dedicated to providing evidence-based treatment for Anxiety, OCD, and related disorders. Ruth and Rachel, a mother-daughter duo, will give you the tools and strategies you need to live life on your own terms. Ruth Lippin
LCSW, JD

Ruth is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) specializing in CBT. She received extensive training at The Anxiety & Phobia Treatment Center at White Plains Hospital and regularly attends professional conferences and continuing education workshops to stay abreast of cutting-edge treatment. She is a graduate of the esteemed International Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder Foundation’s (IOCDF) Pediatric Behavior Training Therapy Institute (BTTI).

A founding fellow of the Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA), she has been actively involved in several committees and was honored with ADAA's 2012 Clinician's Outreach Award. She is currently the co-chair of the ADAA’s Child & Adolescent Special Interest Group.

Ruth has conducted trainings for fellow professionals in the basics of CBT for anxiety and OCD and supervises other professionals on a regular basis. Ruth serves on the Board of Directors of the NYC-CBT Association and is on the Advisory Board of the International Paruresis Association. She is also a member of the International Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Foundation (IOCDF).

Ruth received her M.S. in Social Work from Columbia University and her JD from City University of New York Law School.
